Sväng, Frigg and Lepistö&Lehti at Finland Fest - Tokyo/Japanby Holda Paoletti-Kampl |
 Three top class acts showcase the contemporary folk music talent from Finland in Tokyo in May. In the framework of the yearly music business event Finland Fest, there will be a special folk music night on 28 May. The showcase takes place at JZ Brat and features the fiddle virtuoso band Frigg, accordion and bass duo Lepistö & Lehti and the frequent visitor in Japan, harmonica quartet Sväng. The Japanese promoter for the showcase is The Music Plant, which has also put up an album campaign titled “Music from Finland”, promoting the Finnish folk music in the five significant record stores of Tokyo. In addition to the Finland Fest showcase, all the three bands play several other gigs in Japan. Frigg will perform at Musashino and give a short introduction of their skills also in the major record store Tower Record on 29 May. Sväng will go for a five-gig tour around Japan. Lepistö&Lehti play two other concerts in Tokyo, out of which one is a cooperation with a local accordion artist. The yearly Finland Fest of Tokyo, Japan will take place again on 28 May - 1 June. Rooting back to the 1990s and co-organised by Fimic and Music Export Finland, the event aims at enhancing the business relations between Finnish and Japanese music professionals, increasing the mutual know-how, and showcasing some of the best and most in-demand Finnish music talent of the moment.  Am 23. Mai Anno 1829 wurde dem Wiener Orgelbauer Cyrill Demian das K&K-Patent für das erste spielbare Akkordeon unter dem Namen ACCORDION verliehen. Das Akkordeon ist also eine österreichische Erfindung, die rasch ihren Siegeszug um die Welt antrat, und heute nach 180 Jahren immer mehr die Musikwelt bereichert.Hannes Thanheiser, Schauspieler, Musiker und Sammler aus Leidenschaft, eröffnete in Melk NÖ, Sterngasse 19, am 18. Juni 2009 das 1. Akkordeon Museum in Österreich und macht so seine umfangreiche Sammlung einem breiten Publikum zugänglich. Zu sehen sind Raritäten, Kostbarkeiten und Kuriositäten von 1860 bis in die Jetztzeit. Außerdem und einmalig - die größte Figurensammlung Österreichs zum Thema Akkordeon. 250 Exponate umfasst die Akkordeonsammlung Thanheiser, darunter auch viele diatonische Instrumente, teils sehr seltene und besondere Instrumente sowie Kunst und Kitsch rund ums Akkordeon. In die Ausstellung integriert, ein Spielraum mit Instrumenten für Kinder und Jugendliche zum Ausprobieren. Zusammenarbeit mit örtlichen Musikschulen. Weiters gibt es dort Veranstaltungen, Konzerte mit international bekannten Musikern, Weltmeistern und Künstlern sowie spielerische Events für Kinder und deren Eltern. Eine „Einmaligkeit“ für das Land und Standort – Melk die Akkordeonstadt neben dem großartigen Santuario Stift Melk! In ganz Österreich gibt es kein Museum dieser Art. | Nel mese di marzo il direttore del Conservatorio Tchaikovsky , M°Pierfrancesco Pullia, ha ufficialmente inaugurato il corso sperimentale di fisarmonica diatonica, 1° in Calabria e nel meridione e 2° in Italia dopo quello istituito presso il Conservatorio dell’Aquila. Una svolta nell’assetto del piano studiorum del Conservatorio perché, come sottolinea il direttore, (l’istituzione del corso sperimentale rappresenta la volontà di iniziare un percorso di valorizzazione del territorio e degli strumenti cosiddetti popolari attraverso percorsi di formazione professionalizzanti), sulla scia del modello del Conservatorio di Musica “A.Casella” dell’Aquila, il quale ha già avviato questo corso sperimentale di fisarmonica diatonica, strumento comunemente noto come organetto e fortemente radicato nella tradizione musicale meridionale. Un patrimonio ricchissimo e vivo nella coscienza territoriale di tutti che merita di essere valorizzato e non dimenticato. Per noi infatti lavorare sul territorio non significa solo coinvolgere e collaborare con le realtà che vi operano e portare avanti i nostri talenti, ma anche valorizzare le peculiarità che caratterizzano la storia della musica territoriale, alla luce dell’intenso legame che vi è tra la musica e le tradizioni popolari. Per queste ragioni il Conservatorio Tchaikovsky, ente comunemente preposto alla formazione musicale cosiddetta colta, ha scelto di intraprendere sperimentalmente questo percorso alternativo, che sarà diretto dal Màdanilo Di Paolonicola, prluri premiato esponente, nonché una delle piu’alte figure operanti a livello artistico e didattico nel panorama internazionale della fisarmonica diatonica. Di considerevole importanza è anche la scelta di intrecciare le lezioni strumentali con la formazione teorica erogata attraverso la piattaforma di formazione a distanza (FAD), all’indirizzo www.orientamusa.it/fad, con lezioni impartite dal co-docente Antonio Spaccarotella. Neben einer Festigung der Grundlagen werden Techniken zur Bearbeitung einfachster Stücke vermittelt: Melodieverzierungen, Balgarbeit und Begleitmöglichkeiten mit den Bässen. Die Stücke werden in Noten und Tabulatur ausgeteilt, es wird jedoch auch das im Folkbereich traditionelle Erlernen der Melodie nach Gehör geübt. Dozent: Oliver Stoffregen, Darmstadt, Dipl.Sozialpäd., Musiker u.a. bei "Dudlhupf" und den "FrontStreetBoys". Betreibt das Akkordeon-Fachgeschäft "Diatonie" in Darmstadt. Um sie beim Aufspielen zum Tanz abwechslungsreich und spannend zu gestalten, gibt es viele Möglichkeiten, die wir in diesem Kurs erlernen wollen: z.B. rhythmische Gestaltungsvarianten der rechten und linken Hand, das Akkordspiel auf der Diskantseite und Phrasierungs- und Verzierungstechniken. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt ist das Erarbeiten von Variationen bis hin zu kleinen Improvisationen. Ziel des Kurses ist, dass die Teilnehmer mit den erlernten Fertigkeiten kreativ und spielerisch umgehen können, wobei sich jede/r entsprechend seiner individuellen Möglichkeiten in das Zusammenspiel integrieren kann. Dozent: Jan Budweis, Berlin, Musiker und Instrumentenbauer, Studium in Rotterdam, spielt z.Z. Bandoneon bei "Sabor a Tango" und diatonisches Akkordeon bei "Budweis-Wunderlich-Trio" und "Ostkreuzcombo". Diatonisches Akkordeon für weiter Fortgeschrittene An Hand von Stücken aus dem Repertoire der europäischen Folkmusik werden wir erweiterte Spielmöglichkeiten auf dem diatonischen Akkordeons ausloten. Gerade die technischen Besonderheiten und scheinbaren Begrenzungen unseres Instrumentes begreifen wir als Chance zur kreativen musikalischen Gestaltung. Angesprochen werden Akkordeonisten, die ihr Instrument gut kennen. Die Teilnehmenden sollten die Melodien anhand von Noten (Melodie und Harmoniesymbole) oder/und Gehör relativ schnell erfassen und in die Finger bekommen können, damit wir beim Spielen nicht mehr groß über die Töne nachdenken müssen. Damit haben wir den Kopf dann weitestgehend frei für Verzierungen, Arrangement und Groovearbeit mit dem Balg. Es wird aber auch genug Zeit sein, um im gemeinsamen Erfahrungsaustausch Tipps und Tricks des Akkordeonspiels im Bassbereich zu beleuchten. Auf die unterschiedlichen Vorkenntnisse und Probleme wird natürlich individuell eingegangen.   ProjetCinq/Six accordéons diatoniques.... Un spectacle d’envergure qui retrace le parcours de cet instrument au cours de ces trente dernières années à travers six de ses plus illustres représentants européens. Une affiche impressionnante, unique, pour cette petite boîte et ses quelques boutons. Marc Peronne (FR), directeur artistique Riccardo Tesi (IT), Bruno Le Tron (FR), Markku Lepistö (FIN), Didier Laloy (BE), David Munnelly (IRL)... + guest Détails L’idée de départ de ce projet est née de l’essor qu’a connu cet instrument ces dernières décennies. Certains musiciens européens sont à l’origine de ce regain d’intérêt qui à l’heure actuelle permet à des centaines de musiciens dans tous nos pays de partager leurs musiques, leurs cultures.. Beaucoup de nos pays ont des accordéonistes de grand renom. En voici une palette qui a vraiment permis à cet instrument de revenir au devant de la scène. Les musiciens qui ont été choisis pour le projet l’ont été pour ce qu’ils ont apporté à l’instrument, soit au niveau des possibilités sonores, soit au niveau de la créativité artistique, soit au niveau de la brillance de leur jeu. Personne n’a été choisi au hasard, tout a été pris en compte. L’affiche pourrait être changeante mais avec toujours avec des musiciens haut de gamme.  Stage d'accordéon diatonique du 11 au 15 mai 2010animé par Jean-Marc ROHART (4ème édition) - élève de Norbert PIGNOL et Stéphane MILLERET. Il développe la même pédagogie éprouvée et rigoureuse, à laquelle il ajoute des apports personnels comme l’accompagnement de chansons. Au cours des ateliers, l’objectif n’est pas l’apprentissage d’un répertoire mais plutôt la découverte d’éléments musicaux pour permettre à chacun d’enrichir sa façon de jouer. Programme “ Autour de la mélodie ” : Contre-chant, harmonie, arpèges, rythmiques, gammes, théorie, improvisation... Le stage est dense avec 6 à 8 h d'atelier par jour sans compter les nombreuses occasions de jouer : apéro-chanson et veillées animées par Jean-Marc et par les stagiaires. Le stage Le nombre de places est limité à 6 personnes et s’adresse à tous les âges, tous niveaux sauf débutants. Il se déroule dans une maison au milieu des vignes, à proximité d’un petit village provençal. Les 5 chambres de la maison permettent l’hébergement des stagiaires (une ou deux personnes par chambre). Les repas sont élaborés avec amour par Florence. Chacun peut apporter ses spécialités régionales pour les apéros et ses CD pour faire découvrir ses coups de cœur. The festival kicks off with an opening dance Friday at 7:00 pm,featuring polka music and the King and Queen Dance Contest, where articipants and non-participants are encouraged to wear traditional Czech kroj (costumes). At 10:00 on Saturday morning, floats, bands, and colourful costumes will kick-off the downtown festivities. The parade traditionally includes something for visitors of all ages. History: The beginning of the National Polka Festival® in Ennis, Texas with Raymond Zapletal, Len Gehrig, and Joe Liska of Ennis who had been to other cities and seen the large response to polka bands from the people of Czechoslovakian decent, and they believed the people could be brought to their small town of Ennis for the same reasons and so it had its start in 1996. The founders and their successors have insisted on maintaining the authenticity and values of the Czech tradition even today. All entries of the parade, street dancing, and bands performing must have Czech themes and play Czech music. The festival has taken years of work from the Polka Festival Committee, Chamber of Commerce, and the Ennis Convention & Visitors Bureau with the support of many people and is now the largest of it's kind in the United States attracting as many as 50,000 visitors, in search for "a little bit of old Czechoslovakia". Ennis is a very unique city in that it has three beautiful fraternal halls. Over the years the festival has had to change with the time and today they have Grammy award winning bands, as well as bands from across Texas, the United States and the Czech Republic. | Tausende von Akkordeons werden vom 13. bis 16. Mai 2010 beim 10. World Music Festival in Innsbruck, Österreich, erklingen. Rund 10.000 Akkordeon Freunde, ca. 250 Orchester und Ensembles aus 15 Nationen werden dann bei einem der größten Akkordeon Wettbewerbe der Welt im internationalen Tagungszentrum Congress Innsbruck und in benachbarten Spielstätten erwartet. Der internationale Wettbewerb bezieht sich auf verschiedene Kategorien: Akkordeon Orchester und Ensembles, Kammermusik-Akkordeon, Kammermusik Klassisch mit mindestens einem Akkordeon, Ensembles Steirische/ Diatonische Harmonika, Mundharmonika Orchester und Ensembles, Folkloregruppen und gemischte Besetzungen mit mindestens einem Akkordeon sowie Senior Hobby Akkordeon (Orchester und Ensembles).  Die Hannelimusig befasst sich ausschliesslich mit der Volksmusiksammlung von Hanny Christen. Diese Sammlung ist im Jahre 2001 von der Gesellschaft für die Volksmusik in der Schweiz herausgegeben worden und umfasst 11 Bände.Die Gruppe um den Zürcher Cellisten und Hackbrettspieler Fabian Müller, interpretiert alte Schweizer Volksmusik in frischer Manier. | laMarca eurofolk 2010 MAIOLATI SPONTINI (AN) 8 e 9 MAGGIO 2010 GLI ARCHI DELLA TRADIZIONE Nella due giorni di primavera, che apre laMarca eurofolk di quest’anno, l’appuntamento più importante è la presentazione del violone costruito grazie ai fondi del progetto approvato nel 2009. Il violone, importante strumento della tradizione musicale marchigiana in “pericolo di estinzione” e oggetto di uno specifico progetto di recupero da parte dell’associazione l’albero del maggio, sarà ceduto al gruppo cantamaggio fabrianese che sarà presente all’evento. Durante l’evento, oltre al gruppo di Fabriano e ad altri suonatori tradizionali, locali e non, si esibirà il gruppo catalano bruel. Gli amici catalani svolgeranno anche dei laboratori di danze tradizionali e, durante la tavola rotonda, effettueranno una presentazione sull’uso degli strumenti ad arco nella zona dei Pirenei catalani. Nel corso della tavola rotonda, coordinata da Mario Gennari, giornalista del Folk Bulletin, verranno presentati i laboratori di costruzione del violone, che saranno realizzati entro giugno e le tradizioni di altre zone di Italia dove è presente uno strumento simile (bassetto). Come sempre, immancabile il saltarello della zona della Vallesina e il canto di questua di maggio portato per le campagne ed i paesi limitrofi.
