| Wenn Sie in Ihrer Neujahrs-Freizeit in der Nähe von Staufen sind, gönnen Sie sich ein bisschen Zeit und besuchen Sie die derzeit größte Bandoneonsammlung der Welt, die liebevoll in vielen Jahren von Konrad Steinhart zusammengetragen und von seinem Sohn Axel Steinhart vollendet wurde. Eine kleine, aber feine Auswahl aus insgesamt 450 Bandoneons und 3.500 historischen Schellackplatten mit Tangomusik aus dem Buenos Aires der 20er-Jahre haben im Tangomuseum Staufen ein neues Zuhause gefunden. Dazu gibt es im Kapuzinerhof Staufen weitere historische Exponate wie Partituren, Grammophone, Fotos, Plakate sowie Autogramme zu bestaunen.  Jan 14-31, 2016In 2015 the festival won the Art and Culture Award at the Inspiring City Awards ceremony organised by the Herald and Glasgow Chamber of Commerce in association with People Make Glasgow. The awards were created to celebrate the people and organisations that make Glasgow great. Glasgow’s annual folk, roots and world music festival, Celtic Connections celebrates Celtic music and its connections to cultures across the globe. From 14 31 January 2016, 2,100 musicians from around the world will descend on Glasgow and bring the city to life for 17 days of concerts, ceilidhs, talks, art exhibitions, workshops, and free events. Celtic Connections is programmed by Artistic Director (and founding member of Celtic supergroup Capercaillie) Donald Shaw, and features more than 300 events across multiple genres of music. The festival is renowned for its strong spirit of collaboration, bringing together one-off line-ups for very special one night only collaborative shows. | Del 06/01/2016 al 25/01/2016 Festival de la música autóctona, con la presentación de unos quince números musicales por noche, cuadros argumentales y danzas folklóricas, a los que se suman los ganadores de la final del pre-festival. Este año la organización del Instituto de Cultura propone el tema “Universo Chamamé” invitando a reflexionar sobre la riqueza y la multiplicidad de actores y componentes de la “cultura chamamecera”. Este concepto estará presente en la estética de la fiesta, en la programación artística, en los foros y conferencias, en las muestras y en otras actividades que además buscarán enriquecer el espíritu central de esta fiesta identitaria: la celebración.  von 22.-28.Mai 2016Der BAV (Bund Alpenländischer Volksmusikanten) ladet zum 38. Volksmusikseminar auf Schloss Seggau ein und freut sich auf ein Wiedersehen und Wiederhören, wenn es heißt: Der Mensch im Mittelpunkt - die Volksmusik im Vordergrund! Neben dem Einzelunterricht wird bei Bedarf auch Gruppenunterricht geboten. Herzlich eingeladen sind auch Sängerinnen und Sänger, die in einer Gruppe singen und einen Erfahrungsaustausch wünschen. Das genaue Seminarprogramm mit den geplanten Schwerpunkten wird nach erfolgter Anmeldung in einer dafür vorgesehenen Aussendung bekannt gegeben. Wie gewohnt, beginnt das Seminar am Sonntag und endet am Samstag mit dem Mittagessen. Das Seminarprogramm, die Teilnehmer- und Referentenliste, die Quartiereinteilung und der Unterrichtsplan werden den Teilnehmern ca. 3 Wochen vor Seminarbeginn zugesandt. Um die Organisation zu erleichtern, wird gebeten, für jeden Seminarteilnehmer bzw. für jede Begleitperson eine eigene Anmeldung (Online-Formular oder PDF-Formular) auszufüllen. Es werden nur schriftliche Anmeldungen (Online-Formular oder ausgefüllte Anmeldekarte per Post, per Fax) entgegengenommen! | From the 8th - 10th of January 2016 the small town of Cygnet will again play host to the annual Cygnet Folk Festival. This year will be the 34th Cygnet Folk Festival, one of Australia’s most iconic folk music festivals. Very highly regarded by musicians and festival-goers from all over Australia and overseas, competition to come to Cygnet is at an all time high amongst performers, and last year we had a record number of applications! Many of the musicians and volunteers plan their annual holidays around coming to Cygnet in January each year and many come from interstate and overseas especially to be part of this wonderful event.  El joven acordeonista dialogó con Marina Luzuriaga y mostró su estilo tarragocero a la hora de ejecutar el instrumento.Panchito comenzó a tocar a los 11 años y hoy con 14, ya tiene cuatro discos grabados. “Bien provinciano” es su trabajo más reciente. En la charla con Marina señaló que comenzó haciendo glosas y que luego se interesó por el acordeón. Galarza, nació en la provincia de Buenos Aires, pero sus padres tienen su raíz en San Luis del Palmar en la provincia de Corrientes.  Martyn Jacques - When the Tiger Lillies play Eastern Europe and Russia, they are billed as a rock band. People dance. When they play America, the scary make-up-wearing trio is sold as a Halloween act, as if it were an accordion-powered Slipknot.In Australia? "We're a cabaret band!" says Martyn Jacques, for 30 years the Tiger Lillies' leader and principal songwriter. Returning to Australia for the first time since 2010, the band's new show, The Very Worst of The Tiger Lillies, draws on three decades and more than 30 albums of richly idiosyncratic, influential and downright dirty work. "We're often packaged as 'dark cabaret'," Jacques says with a sigh. The Very Worst of the Tiger Lillies is at the Sydney Festival's Famous Spiegeltent, Hyde Park North, until January 17. |
